Assistant Professor

Mr. William Boro is a postgraduate in Pharmacology with a solid foundation in pharmaceutical sciences and a strong inclination toward teaching and academic research. He completed his B. Pharm from NETES Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, affiliated with Assam Science and Technology University, Guwahati, Assam, in 2023, and completed his M.Pharm (Pharmacology) from the Regional Institute of Paramedical and Nursing Sciences (RIPANS), Mizoram University, Aizawl, in 2025. He had qualified the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) in 2023.He is currently working as an Assistant Professor at NEF College of Pharmacy, Guwahati, Assam. He has also served as a Guest Faculty in Pharmacology at Dispur Nursing Institute, Guwahati, gaining valuable teaching experience.His undergraduate research focused on the development and in vitro antimicrobial evaluation of an herbal formulation, while his postgraduate research was centred on the evaluation of antimicrobial and wound healing activity of Securinega virosa leaf extract, reflecting his interest in medicinal plant research and experimental pharmacology. He possesses hands-on experience in laboratory research, academic writing, and the use of analytical instruments, along with strong communication and teaching skills.
