Mr. Jyotirmoy Das is presently designated as Assistant Professor at NEF College of Pharmacy, Guwahati, Assam, India. He has received B. Pharm. degree from Assam Science and Technology University, Guwahati, Assam, and post-graduate (M. Pharm. in Pharmacognosy) degree from the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, University of North Bengal, Darjeeling, West Bengal, India. He has qualified Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT-2023) with All India Rank 1203.

He has a good passion for the teaching field with a great teaching aptitude with thorough knowledge of the subject to be taught and its background. He has basic knowledge of molecular docking and drug design, and knowledge of handling various instruments like UV spectrophotometer, HPTLC, LC, IR, HPLC, AAS, LC-MS, SFE, XRD, TEM, SEM, etc.

His area of research during his Master's period was “ Extraction, Isolation, Phytochemical screening and evaluation of pharmacological activities of the plant extract of Impatiens bracteata. Throughout his study period, he has participated in many workshops (which was organized by DST, SERB, Govt. of India), Conferences, Poster presentations etc.

Till now he has published two review papers and one research paper and he has one Indian patent also which is a smart hand-operated tablet coating machine ( Application Id-388886-001).
