Mr. Jitul Deka is presently designated as an Assistant Professor in NEF College of Pharmacy, Guwahati, Assam. He completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Assam Science and Technology University, Guwahati, Assam in 2021 and completed his post-graduation (M.Pharm) in Pharmacology from Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Azara, Guwahati, Assam which is affiliated to Assam Science and Technology University, Guwahati, Assam in 2024.

His post-graduate research work was centered on the “Evaluation of anti-diabetic activity of polyherbal combination of Zingiber officinale rhizome, Spondias Pinnata leaves and Momordica Charantia fruit in diabetic rats.” Reflecting his deep interest in animal handling and in-vivo animal study with studying the pharmacological effects in the animals.

He had qualified Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2023, conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). He had participated in many National Seminar, workshops and webinars organized by different universities..
