Assistant Professor

Mr. Hrishikesh Sarma currently serves as an Assistant Professor at NEF College of Pharmacy in Guwahati. He earned his B. Pharm. from Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science (GIPS) in Guwahati in 2020 and subsequently completed his master's degree in Pharmaceutics from GIPS, under Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU), in 2023. During his master's program, he conducted research in the field of breast cancer therapy utilizing nanotechnology. He gained proficiency in utilizing various sophisticated instruments such as HPLC, Zeta sizer, IR, Rotary evaporator, UV-visible spectroscopy, etc. Mr. Sarma has authored 2 review papers and 1 research paper in the field of pharmacy and has presented numerous review and research papers at both national and international conferences. Notably, he presented a poster titled "Development and Evaluation of Paclitaxel and Curcumin coloaded pH Sensitive Lipid Polymer Hybrid Nanoparticles for Targeted Drug Delivery into Breast Cancer Cells" at the International Hybrid Conference Bioeconomy 2023 organized by IIT, Guwahati, where he secured the 3rd position. Additionally, he served as a junior officer in the Department of Quality Assurance (IPQA) at Hetero Healthcare Ltd for a duration of 1 year.
