Ms. Doshomita Bir is a Postgraduate in Pharmacy (Pharmacology) with strong academic achievements and hands-on research experience in both Pharmacological and Pharmacognostic Studies of Medicinal Plants. At the undergraduate level her project focused on “Preparation and Evaluation of Herbal Gutika Formulation Using Houttuynia Cordata and Centella Asiatica”, while her Postgraduate research explored plant-based hepatoprotection which entitled “Pharmacological and Pharmacognostic Evaluation of Codiaeum Variegatum in Cisplatin Induced Hepatotoxicity” supported by In-vitro, In-vivo, Toxicity Models, and HPTLC Studies.
She has qualified GPAT 2023 and NIPER 2023 and has actively contributed to academia through Research Publications and Poster Presentations at National and International Conferences. Her practical exposure includes a Hospital Pharmacist Internship and work at a Primary Health Centre, where she assisted in Patient Care, Prescription Management, and Clinical Support.
She is skilled in Animal Handling (rats and mice) and Experimental Pharmacology Techniques and has a strong interest in Medicinal Plant Research. Her expertise is further enriched by Training in Pharmacovigilance and active participation in Workshops and Seminars.
