Md Ariful Islam holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University, where he graduated with distinction. He is a GPAT-2022 qualifier with an All India Rank of 1615. His academic journey is marked by consistent excellence, having completed his B. Pharm and D. Pharm from prestigious institutions in Assam.

With a strong foundation in pharmaceutical research and a flair for scientific writing, Mr. Islam has contributed extensively to the academic community through several research publications in reputed national and international journals. His research interests include molecular docking, anti-diabetic agents, xanthones, and nanomedicine. He has authored/co-authored more than ten research publications and more than two book chapters. His M. Pharm research focused on the design, synthesis, and evaluation of hydroxyxanthone derivatives for antidiabetic activity under the guidance of Prof. Aparoop Das, Dibrugarh University. His academic and research achievements are complemented by hands-on experience in handling sophisticated instruments such as FTIR, UV spectrophotometer, HPLC, and HPTLC.

He has presented scientific posters at various national and international conferences and earned accolades such as the Best Poster Award at the 2023 NIBS Seminar and the Most Enthusiastic Student Award during his diploma studies at the Institute of Pharmacy, Gauhati Medical College. Mr. Islam is passionate about teaching and believes in blending academic rigor with real-world research applications. He is committed to nurturing young minds and contributing meaningfully to pharmaceutical education and research.
