Ms. Tribeni Baruah is an Assistant Professor at NEF College, bringing a wealth of academic rigor and a student-centric approach to the Department of Pharmacy. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Assam Downtown University from 2018-22, where she has developed hands-on experience in both pharmacological and pharmaceutical studies. She has subsequently earned a Master’s degree in pharmacy with a specialization in Pharmacology from Chandigarh group of colleges Landran, Punjab from the year 2022-24, where she has acquired her skills in Animal Handling (rats and mice) and Experimental Pharmacology techniques.
At the undergraduate level her project focused on “ Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical potential of bamboo shoots found in North East India.” while her postgraduate research project focused on animal studies which entitled “Pharmacological evaluation of Maackiain in monosodium iodoacetate induced osteoarthritis in rats”.
She has actively contributed to academics through, poster presentations in National and International conferences on IDPER, offline training programs in Pharmacovigilance, and webinar on computational techniques used in drug discovery process. Her practical exposure includes a Hospital Pharmacist Internship and work at a Primary Health Centre, where she assisted in Patient Care, Prescription Management, and Clinical Support.
